Anti-social behaviour update for Irthlingborough: Man fined for breaching Community Protection Notice

A 40-year-old man has been fined after pleading guilty to failing to comply with the conditions of his Community Protection Notice.

At Northampton Magistrates’ Court last Monday (July 20), Jason Sadler was fined £635 and ordered to pay a £224 victim surcharge and £85 court costs after admitting to eight breaches between April 8 and May 26, this year.

Sadler, of Grimmer Walk in Irthlingborough, was also issued with a two-year restraining order, preventing him from continuing to harass those affected by his anti-social behaviour. 

A Community Protection Notice is something issued to someone whose behaviour is causing a significant impact to others in the community.

The notice has specific conditions that they must comply with. Failure to comply can result in a variety of consequences, including arrest, prosecution, seizure of property where relevant, further enforcement and fixed penalties.
